Transmission EIT/Coordinator

At HDR, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transmission EIT/Coordinator to join our team of Power Delivery professionals. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for executing technical design on high-voltage transmission line engineering projects, ranging from simple structure replacements to large greenfield design projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports, and designs for high-voltage transmission lines under the direction and supervision of senior engineers and designers.
- Conduct analyses to develop design options, perform modeling and/or calculations, and prepare design sketches and concept drawings.
- Work with designers and CAD technicians to develop construction drawings in accordance with national design standards, safety codes, and project specifications and requirements.
- Assist with preparing cost estimates or specifications.
- Participate in field reviews or construction observations.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.
- Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Transmission Coordinator position and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
