Position Overview:
INDEVCO North America (INA) is on the lookout for a proficient and seasoned Blown Film Extrusion Specialist to enhance our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be tasked with the effective management of extrusion machinery, ensuring the production of superior blown film products. This role is vital in sustaining optimal machine functionality, resolving technical issues, and complying with safety and quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and oversee blown film extrusion machinery to manufacture high-quality film products in line with production specifications.
  • Configure, modify, and regulate machine parameters, including temperatures, speeds, and thickness, to achieve the desired product specifications.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance to guarantee uninterrupted and efficient operation.
  • Assess product quality throughout the manufacturing process, making necessary adjustments to uphold consistent quality standards.
  • Conduct visual assessments and measurements of finished products to confirm compliance with customer and company specifications.
  • Identify and resolve any issues related to product defects or deviations from established quality standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Operate machinery in accordance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
  • Promptly report any safety incidents, equipment failures, or maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain precise production records, including machine settings, production rates, and quality control data.
  • Complete necessary documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in extrusion operations is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Extrusion Operator, particularly in blown film production.
  • Familiarity with the operation and upkeep of blown film extrusion machinery.
  • Capability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot blown film extrusion equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to extrusion machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and a dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Physical capability to lift and move heavy materials as necessary.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
