Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Occupational Therapy Services: Offer occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs, focusing on improving functional abilities to participate in classroom activities.
  • Evaluate and Assess Student Needs: Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with School Staff: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' academic and social success.
  • Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Implement therapeutic interventions to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and other areas as needed.
  • Monitor and Document Progress: Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Education and Licensure: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and Florida state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience and Skills: Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
