Responsibilities include:

Sanitation Duties:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of multiple buildings and associated facilities.
  • Cleaning offices, restrooms, lobbies, break rooms, recreational areas, and conference rooms; dusting furniture and fixtures as necessary.
  • Performing carpet and floor maintenance.
  • Conducting general exterior cleaning of all facilities.
  • Removing recycling and trash from all buildings.
  • Cleaning windows and common areas.
  • Restocking soap, paper towels, and toilet paper dispensers.
  • Executing major cleaning tasks, including power washing.
  • Identifying and reporting potential maintenance issues related to equipment or buildings.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of custodial experience.
Ideal candidates will have:

  • Knowledge of standard cleaning practices and appropriate use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to operate janitorial equipment, including vacuums, power washers, buffers, handcarts, ladders, and window squeegees.
  • Capacity to work diligently and consistently to meet assigned tasks within designated timeframes and quality standards.
  • Ability to stand or walk for the duration of the shift.
  • Capability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong initiative and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel by car.
  • Willingness to work in challenging conditions, including extreme temperatures, dust, noise, and dirt.
  • Capacity to lift 50 lbs and carry it for a distance of 25 feet.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to stoop and climb ladders.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts.
