Job Summary

Webber is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for setting forms to line and level, reading and understanding plans, and working with survey crews to set stringlines for paving, curb, and gutter.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Set forms to line and level, read and understand plans
  2. Work with survey crew to set stringline for paving, curb, and gutter
  3. Construct forms for the placement of concrete and structures
  4. Check forms while concrete is being placed
  5. Assist and direct others in stripping forms after concrete is placed
  6. Install miscellaneous materials in erecting concrete structures
  7. Install pre-cast concrete elements
  8. Prepare for slip-forming traffic rails and median barriers
  9. Install permanent metal deck forms
  10. Work with hand tools and power tools
Requirements
  1. High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required
  2. Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications
  3. Move throughout a construction jobsite which includes minor obstacles including climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  4. Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature
  5. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers and perceives attributes of objects and materials
  6. Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind
