About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at Dubols Home Care. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work with patients in their homes, providing personalized care and promoting recovery.


Job Summary

This role involves consulting with patients to understand their physical condition, assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results, developing treatment plans, and administering physical therapy treatments. The successful candidate will have a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, a valid license to practice in Maryland, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.


Responsibilities
  • Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition
  • Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results
  • Developing treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques
  • Creating personalized fitness-oriented healthcare programs for patients
  • Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility
  • Advising clients on exercise techniques
  • Educating clients and their families about in-home treatment options
  • Providing educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics, and ways to promote physical health
  • Documenting client care and submitting all notes on the same day as the visit

Requirements
  • A Master's Degree/Doctorate in physical therapy from an accredited educational institution
  • Compliant with state regulatory requirements
  • A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in Maryland
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Compassionate and attentive to detail
  • Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices
  • Ability to solve problems independently
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking
  • Ability to manage patients with different personalities
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence at a professional level

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time position with an annual salary range of $95,000 to $110,000, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a non-taxable gas reimbursement benefit of $5,400 annually, generous paid time off and sick leave, paid holidays, and opportunities for continuing education.


Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced home care environment, visiting 4-6 patients per day between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Most full-time PTs complete their daily visits by 3:00 PM. You will have the support of an experienced supervisor, thorough onboarding training, monthly meetings with all therapy staff, and access to ongoing education.
