Bituminous Roadways, Inc. is seeking a skilled Grading Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects. Your expertise in grading and paving will be essential in delivering high-quality results and meeting our company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend weekly scheduling meetings to coordinate job schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Schedule subcontractors, materials, trucks, and equipment to optimize project efficiency.
• Set elevations for grading and paving to ensure accurate and safe execution of projects.
• Measure and report quantities on daily field logs to track project progress.
• Ensure Gopher One calls are made in advance of work to coordinate with stakeholders.
• Maintain a safe working environment for crew members and the public by conducting regular tool box talks and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in grading and paving operations.
• Strong math skills and ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and train crew members.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA and MMUTCD.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
