Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at a well-established General Contractor in the Pittsburgh, PA area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in construction management, with a focus on structural concrete and building concrete structures for commercial and public projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising all phases of assigned projects, including preparing and managing schedules, estimating change orders, and negotiating all change orders and maintaining change order logs. They will also be responsible for managing project budgets and approving all expenses, as well as contract administration and buyout of subcontracts and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all phases of assigned projects
  • Prepare and manage schedules
  • Estimate change orders
  • Negotiate all change orders and maintain change order logs
  • Manage project budgets and approve all expenses
  • Contract administration
  • Buyout of subcontracts and equipment
  • Interface with the owner on all projects assigned
  • Assemble and maintain complete project records and close-out documents
  • Perform project punch-list inspection(s), in coordination with Superintendents and the owner's representative, and issue punch list to all relevant subcontractors

Requirements:

  • Must have cast in place concrete experience
  • Must have experience in building concrete structures
  • Solid communication both verbal and written
  • Ability to establish timelines and budgets
  • Experience in cost estimation and negotiating
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to lead productive, multi-discipline meetings
  • Solid, proven and verifiable record of career stability and project management success a must
  • 5+ years' experience in general construction management with large project exposure
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required - Candidates with a strong construction background will be strongly considered.
