Drexel University, a world-class research institution, is seeking a highly qualified individual to join its faculty as an Associate or Full Professor in the Department of Community Health and Prevention at the Dornsife School of Public Health.

About the Position

We are looking for a scholar with expertise in the socio-behavioral and environmental determinants of health, the development and evaluation of socio-behavioral interventions, and/or the impact of health and other policies on the health of populations. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of externally funded research and extensive experience teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research that addresses pressing community health challenges and uses an anti-racist lens
  • Teach and mentor students in the Department of Community Health and Prevention
  • Contribute to the service mission of the school, university, and field
Requirements
  • PhD or Doctorate in Public Health, Sociology, Psychology, Medicine, Nursing, or related fields
  • At least 5 years of experience in a faculty position at a higher-education institution
  • Strong record of externally funded research and extensive experience teaching and mentoring
