Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Agent to join our team at Fairfield Inn&Suites by Marriott NY. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently, handling all necessary paperwork and processing payments.
  • Process daily audit of the hotel's financial data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Handle guest mail and messages, as well as block rooms and handle special requests.
  • Monitor room availability and ensure that all guest rooms are clean and presentable.
  • Handle safe deposits by guests, following established procedures.
  • Keep the lobby, back office, and desk area clean and organized.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures, as well as hotel policies and procedures.
  • Offer and properly handle requests for wake-up calls, as well as provide information on hotel amenities and services.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management, using excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures.
