Position Overview

  • Focus on inclusion with small group and individualized support; no Special Day Classes
  • Classroom instruction limited to SAI
  • Provide SAI in a small group setting, facilitating both 1:1 and small group interactions
  • IEP meetings are scheduled by the SPED Central Office Department, relieving teachers of this responsibility
  • Specialization in Mild/Moderate education
This credentialed teaching role is part of a hybrid charter school program.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting independent study students, developing and executing IEPs/504 plans, conducting labs and/or study halls, as well as lesson planning and assessment.
