Job Summary:

Concentra, a leading healthcare company, is seeking a licensed Psychologist to join our team as an independent contractor. This role is designed to complement your existing practice and provide a unique opportunity to work with patients in a medical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist services and treatment to patients with work-related injuries or trauma
  • Collaborate with medical and therapy providers to develop patient management plans
  • Communicate with employers and manage cases to ensure effective treatment and return to work
  • Examine patients, perform comprehensive examinations, and document medical information
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient data and information
  • Order and perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures
  • Consult with physicians, attorneys, and insurance adjusters regarding patient status
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in treating patients
  • Preferred experience in treating work-related injuries and/or mental health
  • Licensure requirements of the state of practice
  • Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an APA-approved program with APA-approved internship
  • Medical Malpractice Insurance
