Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Worker/Packaging Operator to join our team at Lignetics Inc. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery in a productive manner, adhering to established safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Assist other production areas as needed, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient production.
  • Move and wrap completed products, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day.
  • Communicate effectively with Shift Leads to resolve moisture or material problems.
  • Maintain accurate records, including production reports and quality control information.
The Bagging Operation
  • Operate a variety of machinery, including bagging and baler machines, shrink wrapping machines, forklifts, pallet jack, and bag sealer.
  • Stack bags on pallets, put covers on pallets, and place finished goods in the correct warehouse location.
  • Position requires accurate completion of the Bagger production report, filling pellet sample cups every ton for quality control information, and tagging pallet with Quality Control tag with initials, date, ton number, and the shift the pallet was completed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
  • Good eye, hand, and foot coordination required.
  • Ability to read and interpret scales.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to adjust the weight and timing of baler and various other simple maintenance problems.
  • Ability to do simple math calculations.
