Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure exceptional quality in room service, breakfast offerings, pastries, and desserts.
  • Oversee the employee meal program and maintain the overall food and beverage operations.
  • Implement and uphold food safety and sanitation standards consistently.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in various cooking techniques, including butchering, sauce preparation, and garde manger.
  • Manage kitchen equipment effectively and thrive in a dynamic kitchen atmosphere.

The Sous Chef should be proactive, organized, and patient, fostering a positive and efficient work environment for the culinary team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, with proficiency in Spanish being a valuable asset.

Additionally, the Sous Chef will be responsible for monitoring and managing product storage, portion control, and food rotation practices.
