Role Summary
The Environmental Services Leader is primarily responsible for overseeing teams engaged in daily operations, including mold remediation, asbestos removal, and duct cleaning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a crew to execute job tasks in accordance with industry standards
- Ensure proper documentation at job sites
- Maintain quality control throughout the project
- Oversee safety protocols on-site
- Facilitate communication during the mitigation process with clients and project managers
- Deliver work that meets the highest quality standards
- Complete assignments promptly
- Participate in the company's 24/7 on-call system for emergency response
- Operate company vehicles responsibly
- Adhere to safety regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; relevant experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years in the environmental sector, with 5+ years preferred
- Leadership experience of at least 1 year
- Hands-on knowledge of asbestos and mold remediation, as well as duct cleaning techniques
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license
- Successful completion of drug testing and background checks
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Overtime as required
Working Conditions:
This role involves exposure to typical construction hazards. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. The employee will work in various environments, including those that may be hot, cold, wet, or dirty. The ability to work in adverse weather conditions year-round is essential.
Employees may be required to handle chemicals and must not be chemically sensitive. Personal protective equipment may be necessary, including ear plugs, goggles, safety glasses, Tyvek suits, high visibility clothing, gloves, hard hats, and respirators.
