Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

At Prime Healthcare, our team of professionals is dedicated to delivering high-quality care to our patients. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely diagnostic imaging services to support our medical team.

As a member of our radiology team, you will work collaboratively with our radiologists to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. Your responsibilities will include operating computed tomography (CT) scanners, processing and transmitting images to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), and assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology, as well as excellent communication and technical skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of patients

• Process and transmit images to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)

• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed

• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic imaging services

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program accredited by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by the state

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred

• Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment required

• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required
