BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality home health care services.

As a Physical Therapist with BAYADA Home Health Care, you will have the opportunity to work with adult and geriatric clients in their homes, providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing services. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional care and support to our clients, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Conducting home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
  • Performing diagnostic tests and measurements, such as mobility and range of motion assessments.
  • Implementing integumentary protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound repair.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises and gait training.
  • Continually assessing and revising the care plan, and participating in multidisciplinary care planning as needed.
  • Educating and instructing clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.

Qualifications for this role include:

  • A current New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
  • A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid computer skills, with prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
