Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator to join our team at MMI Engineered Solutions. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machines and assembly equipment to produce high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machines and assembly equipment to produce parts and products
- Maintain accurate production documentation, both on paper and in real-time computer systems
- Position inserts, load and work pieces on machines
- Remove finished products from machines, unless robotically handled
- Visually inspect 100% of products for surface and dimension defects
- Complete all secondary operations on parts as noted in quality control procedures
- Fill in necessary information on labels and associated documentation
- Packaging of products for shipment
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to Environmental Management System guidelines for recycling
- Regular and prompt attendance at work
- Interact with clients and coworkers in a professional and respectful manner
- Overtime and rotating shifts, as required
Requirements:
- A high school degree or equivalent
- A solid work history
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to quickly develop a comprehensive knowledge of products
- The drive to assist team members with other tasks as required
- One or more years of manufacturing experience, preferably in plastics
