Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machines and assembly equipment to produce parts and products
  • Maintain accurate production documentation, both on paper and in real-time computer systems
  • Position inserts, load and work pieces on machines
  • Remove finished products from machines, unless robotically handled
  • Visually inspect 100% of products for surface and dimension defects
  • Complete all secondary operations on parts as noted in quality control procedures
  • Fill in necessary information on labels and associated documentation
  • Packaging of products for shipment
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to Environmental Management System guidelines for recycling
  • Regular and prompt attendance at work
  • Interact with clients and coworkers in a professional and respectful manner
  • Overtime and rotating shifts, as required

Requirements:

  • A high school degree or equivalent
  • A solid work history
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to quickly develop a comprehensive knowledge of products
  • The drive to assist team members with other tasks as required
  • One or more years of manufacturing experience, preferably in plastics
