Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer II to join our team at NSG Group/Pilkington. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading continuous improvement activities, managing projects, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate continuous improvement activities using data-driven problem-solving techniques, including 5S, Kaizens, Kanban, and Six Sigma.
  • Initiate and lead studies to resolve technical, process, safety, or environmental problems.
  • Project manage all projects involving external contractors, ensuring adherence to plant safety policies.
  • Develop, maintain, and update electrical and site drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Audit, review, and update equipment and plant PM procedures as necessary.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs, MMI/HMI's, and servo and inverter drives.
  • Provide support to maintenance staff as needed.
  • Maintain electrical skills and knowledge through continual education classes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and experience in programming PLCs, inverter and servo drives, HMI/MMI's, and robots.
  • Strong results-oriented, adaptable, standards-driven, developing, influential, and informative competencies.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment, with prior maintenance supervisory experience a plus.
