Job SummaryTHIS POSITION IS ONLY FOR CURRENTLY ENROLLED CLAYTON STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WHO QUALIFY FOR FEDERAL WORK STUDY
This role involves conducting campus tours, managing recruitment materials and inventory, and assisting with various recruitment events. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting and assisting guests with a positive demeanor.
- Demonstrating knowledge of the university's programs and admissions processes.
- Representing the university professionally through appropriate attire and conduct.
- Conducting campus tours, including golf cart tours, requiring a valid driver’s license.
- Handling inbound calls and directing inquiries as needed.
- Maintaining the office lobby and assisting with event logistics.
- Performing general administrative tasks such as data entry and correspondence management.
As a responsible team member, you will contribute ideas for improvement and collaborate effectively on projects. The role may require moving materials of up to 25 lbs.
Required QualificationsTo be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Current enrollment at Clayton State University.
- Eligibility for Federal Work Study.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Good academic and judicial standing with the university.
- Availability to fulfill work schedule requirements.
- Prior experience in a related field or equivalent education.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Demonstrated integrity and attention to detail.
