Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain a secure and compliant pharmacy environment, adhering to DEA regulations and facility policies.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, counseling patients on medication use and adjusting prescription instructions as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and respond to medical emergencies.
  • Conduct thorough inventory management, ensuring accurate record-keeping and minimizing waste.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account patient needs and medical history.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacology or a related field.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of employment.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to pass a federal government security background check.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations, requiring fast walking or jogging.
  • Capacity to assist patients or staff in emergency situations, potentially involving lifting or carrying.
  • Excellent visual, auditory, and olfactory senses, with ability to adapt to changing environments.
  • Ability to alternate between kneeling and standing, with capacity to lift, push, or carry 30 pounds.
