Job Summary

The Behavioral Technician provides services to meet the personal care needs of the patient in various healthcare settings. As a key member of our team at ATC Marietta, you will be responsible for assisting behavior analysts to implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist patients with day-to-day activities, monitor their behavior, record and collect data on patients' progress, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with behavior analysts to develop and implement treatment plans that promote positive behavior and skill acquisition.
- Provide patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness, preserving autonomy, rights, and dignity.

Requirements

- At least six months of work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Current CPR certification (nice to have).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices in accordance with HIPAA.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
