Finance Director

Join the City of Selma, CA as we seek a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to lead our finance team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the city, including budgeting, financial reporting, and financial planning.

The Director of Finance will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures
• Overseeing the preparation of the city's budget and financial reports
• Providing financial analysis and advice to the city manager and city council
• Managing the city's financial systems and processes
• Supervising a team of financial professionals

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a local government setting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
