About the Role

At Disability Solutions, we're seeking a skilled Body Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our collision repair team, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Examine damaged vehicles and develop efficient repair plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and high-quality repairs.
  • Make informed decisions on repair versus replacement, considering factors like safety, cost, and cycle time.
  • Remove and replace vehicle components, including upholstery, accessories, and trim, to access damaged areas.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings and adhere to industry standards.
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
  • Supervise and train junior technicians as needed.
Requirements
  • Ability to operate a frame machine.
  • Certification in body repair is preferred.
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair processes and manufacturer specifications.
  • I-CAR welding certification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and supervise repair personnel.
