We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Infant and Toddler Afternoon Teacher to join our team at Gretchen's House.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment for infants and toddlers, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily routines and activities that support children's learning and growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality educational programs
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Experience working with infants and toddlers in a group care setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Immunization requirements: MMR, Tdap, Hep B, Varicella, Annual influenza and Covid (current booster required)
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
