Family Nurse Practitioner Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Fast Pace Health, a leading provider of healthcare services in rural communities. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, leading clinic staff, and performing various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in nursing, a strong clinical background, and excellent leadership and communication skills. They will be passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and be committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in their field.

Responsibilities
  • Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions, and attitude to deliver excellent patient care
  • Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis
  • Implement clinical protocols as outlined by CMO and Supervising Physicians
  • Maintain behavior that is compliant with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements
  • Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, including but not limited to I&D, splinting, suturing, managing infection, and wound care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing
  • Family Nurse Practitioner License
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and autonomous environment
