About the Role

Full stack technical leads at Anza are passionate builders, empathetic communicators, and proactive leaders.

In this role, you'll spend half of your time architecting and coding well thought out technical solutions, and half of your time ensuring your team thrives and grows with you.

You'll help distill complex requirements into actionable deliverables, and provide clear direction, mentorship, and support to everyone on your team.

You'll also have influence and a seat at the table for defining the overall engineering culture of Anza and ensuring we set a high bar for software development excellence.

We're cloud native (GCP) and our technical stack is made up of TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and PostgreSQL.

We care deeply about developer experience and invest extensively into CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.

We expect our leads to have demonstrated experience with some or all of our technical stack.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, QA, and other engineering leaders to define pragmatic technical solutions within our agile process
  • Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers to deliver exceptional software that solve real business challenges
  • Set high standards by writing high-quality, thoroughly tested code, delivering well thought out Pull Requests, and architecting scalable implementations
  • Champion technically sound and well-designed product decisions that meet our customers needs and contribute to the overall health of the platform
Requirements
  • 6+ years of hands on technical experience
  • 3+ years of experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and React
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and collaboration abilities
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, API design, and software architecture
  • Experience developing cloud native applications (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
