Job Summary

The CDL Class B Truck Driver w/ tanker endorsement is a critical role within our Fleet Group, responsible for operating water trucks, sweepers, and rollers on various project sites. This position requires a high level of motivation, productivity, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate water trucks, sweepers, and rollers in a safe and productive manner.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload equipment, ensuring correct securement in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Transport equipment and materials to project sites.
  • Wash trucks and equipment when not in use.
  • Keep dump truck beds clean and organized.
  • Interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
  • Verify equipment and materials are available for each job.
  • Perform all assigned roles, responsibilities, and related work processes/tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Valid CDL Class B license with tanker endorsement required.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification required; training provided by Wayne Brothers.
  • First Aid/CPR certification desirable.
Working Conditions
  • Work outdoors frequently, with occasional indoor work.
  • Loud noise and varying temperatures are common.
  • Walking and riding on uneven terrain is frequent.
  • Multi-activity work sites are common.
  • 40-60 hour work week is typical.
