Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

• Assist Pharmacists: Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will assist with various pharmacy tasks, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
• Operate Pharmacy Systems: You will be responsible for using our pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory.
• Provide Excellent Customer Service: You will engage with customers and patients, providing a positive and welcoming experience, and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Maintain a Clean and Organized Pharmacy: You will ensure that the pharmacy department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, and well-organized.

• Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other team members.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using pharmacy systems and software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
