Job Summary

As a Correctional Sergeant with the North Carolina State Government, you will play a critical role in maintaining facility security and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. This position requires a strong leader who can respond to emergency situations, supervise searches, and maintain a safe and secure environment for offenders and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain facility security through regular inspections and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Respond to emergency situations, including distress codes, escapes, and transportation of offenders
• Supervise searches of offenders, living areas, and work areas for contraband
