About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead our ecommerce platform development team. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure ecommerce solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of our ecommerce platform, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable and secure ecommerce architecture, leveraging cloud-native technologies such as AWS.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of ecommerce systems, including ATG, Shopify, Magento, and Demandware.
  • Lead modernization initiatives focused on improving customer experience and self-service capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of design patterns, including MVC, MVP, and other design patterns.
  • Work closely with the product team to develop and maintain a product roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of agile methodology and lead the development team in implementing agile practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, technology, or equivalent work/industry experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on ecommerce platform development.
  • Experience in managing offshore or remote teams and large-scale web development projects.
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce systems, including ATG, Shopify, Magento, and Demandware.
  • Working experience with Oracle ATG Commerce / eCommerce Suite / Commerce Tools / Salesforce eCommerce Suites.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering web-front ends leveraging Nodejs, React, and JavaScript, NO SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience leading modernization initiatives focused on improving customer experience and self-service capabilities.
  • Experience with AWS Services, including S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Elastic Search, etc.
  • Understanding of CI/CD, GIT branching strategies.
  • Experienced using messaging tools like TIBCO, KAFKA, etc.
  • Knowledge of design patterns, including MVC, MVP, and other design patterns.
  • Working knowledge in database technologies, including cloud-native options.
  • Hand-on experience with HTML5, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, React, SQL, Microservices, and REST API frameworks.
  • Understanding of OMS and ERP Retail management systems and processes.
  • Self-motivated; willing to take on new opportunities and learn new technologies.
  • Good collaborator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working experience with agile methodology.
