Leasing Consultant

About the Job

The Leasing Professional is responsible for maintaining all aspects of property operations with a concentration on leasing, marketing, resident relations, and community functions. This role requires high energy and a passion to make a difference in the lives of residents.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively and courteously with residents, associates, management, and guests.
• Greet visitors and present the features and benefits of the apartment community in a professional manner.
• Distribute and follow-up on renewal notices to current residents electronically.
• Maintain an accurate and updated inventory of available apartments in the property management software system.
• Assist with maintenance service requests with documentation and daily follow-ups to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Maintain marketing initiatives to connect and engage residents by posting announcements, photos, updates, and event information.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the community to provide a thorough and exceptional experience for residents or prospective residents.

Requirements

• 1+ years' experience in multi-family residential leasing.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment demonstrating strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in Yardi Voyager and/or Rent Café CRM (or similar) software.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
