ABM Industries, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for implementing predictive and preventative maintenance practices to ensure the safe and efficient operation of facility equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior technicians with electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC troubleshooting, installations, and repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment lubrication, air filter changes, and air handler maintenance.
- Record and track work requests, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct ballast replacements, electrical installations, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal lighting performance.
- Perform drain clearing, flushometer, and faucet repairs to maintain plumbing systems.
- Conduct air compressor maintenance, including oil changes and exchanger cleaning.
- Maintain pumps, clean strainers, and perform exhaust system and belt changes.
- Perform cooling, coil cleaning, temperature adjustments, heating, and coil cleaning, and steam boiler repairs to ensure optimal HVAC performance.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC operations and the utilization of basic tools and specialized equipment to perform maintenance functions.
- Completion of trade school preferred.
