Optomi, in partnership with a leading insurance agency, is seeking a skilled Senior .NET Developer to contribute to their growing team in Hartford, CT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using C# and .NET.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers using Angular to ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend systems.
  • Work within both Azure cloud and on-premises environments to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Utilize a variety of technologies to enhance system capabilities and efficiencies.
  • Lead API-based orchestration between systems, ensuring smooth data flow and integration.
  • Query and manipulate data efficiently using SQL and JSON.
  • Navigate and adapt to a rapidly changing environment, establishing new development patterns and design principles.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the external platform.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on C# and .NET.
  • Proficiency in Angular or similar frontend frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services and on-premises deployment.
  • Solid understanding of API orchestration and integration between systems.
  • Strong skills in data querying and manipulation, particularly with SQL and JSON.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and drive the establishment of new patterns and designs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
