American Family Care (AFC) stands as one of the largest providers of primary and urgent care services in the United States, operating seven days a week on a walk-in basis. Our modern facilities are dedicated to the episodic treatment of acute medical conditions and injuries, workers' compensation, and occupational health services. Each center is equipped with an onsite laboratory and in-house x-ray services.

AFC is the parent organization of AFC Franchising, LLC (AFCF). This role is associated with a franchised business location, and specific job responsibilities and benefits may differ among franchises.

Position Summary

The role involves conducting INS Physicals. We seek an MD or DO committed to delivering exceptional care to all patients while guiding staff in supporting patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct INS Physicals
  • Deliver high-quality patient care
  • Oversee all patient care during shifts
  • Supervise clinical staff during shifts
  • Ensure timely completion of charts and medical records
  • Process biological specimens as necessary
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (with ER or UC experience)
  • Strong communication skills with staff, patients, and families
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Active medical license in the state of practice, DEA registration, and state-controlled substance certificate as required
  • Able to multitask and work independently
Compensation: $140.00 per hour
