This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Epic training environment, training materials, and methods for clinical and non-clinical end users at AnMed.

Principal trainers collaborate with the Training Manager and application analysts to develop and maintain the training program for their application.

They will become certified in the application(s) they support and are responsible for obtaining an in-depth understanding of the software, policies, and procedures, and workflows for each application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop training materials and methods for clinical and non-clinical end users.
  • Collaborate with the Training Manager and application analysts to develop and maintain the training program.
  • Become certified in the application(s) they support.
  • Obtain an in-depth understanding of the software, policies, and procedures, and workflows for each application.
  • Requires an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a clinical-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years' experience in the healthcare field in a hospital or medical center clinical setting with experience desired in building, implementing, and supporting clinical application systems.
  • 5 years' demonstrated experience in facilitation of classroom, online, and one-on-one training.
  • Strong presentation skills, effective communication, and organization skills, interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
