The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Henry Ford Health System is in search of a board eligible/certified Gastroenterologist with a specialization in motility disorders. This esteemed medical group is recognized as one of the largest in the nation, comprising over 1,900 healthcare professionals across more than 40 specialties.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting evaluations and managing patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
- Providing education and mentorship to fellows, residents, and students in the fields of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
- Supervising mid-level providers focused on IBD.
- Participating in clinical trials as a sub-investigator.
- Collaborating with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
This role will involve working in a multidisciplinary environment alongside colorectal surgeons and maternal-fetal medicine specialists. An academic appointment with the Wayne State School of Medicine will be available, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
