Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN specializing in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to join our healthcare team. This role is vital for providing comprehensive care to critically ill and premature infants, ensuring their well-being and supporting their families during challenging times.
As a NICU RN, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering continuous, individualized care to high-risk newborns using established nursing practices.
- Collaborating effectively with families and NICU healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and achieve favorable outcomes.
- Administering hands-on care, including monitoring vital signs and feeding infants.
- Conducting medical procedures such as tests, medication administration, and intravenous line placements.
- Utilizing specialized NICU equipment to provide necessary treatments.
- Assisting physicians in executing medical interventions and treatments.
- Developing nursing care plans and evaluating treatment effectiveness.
- Providing emotional support to families navigating the complexities of caring for a newborn in the NICU.
- Educating families on the care of their newborns post-discharge.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Current certifications as required by the facility.
- CPR certification.
- Strong understanding of health information systems and NICU-specific equipment.
- Exceptional empathy and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to provide emotional support to families.
- Capability to thrive in a high-pressure, emotional environment.
- Availability for 12-hour shifts, both day and night.
