About the Role:
This position is focused on overseeing and directing electrical engineering efforts for control system design and power distribution within industrial gas processing facilities. The role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and support across various projects.
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with project managers to allocate department resources effectively.
  • Deliver regular training and mentorship to team members.
  • Assist the sales team with proposal development.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of departmental work to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
  • Engage in facility design assessments and review significant technical purchase orders.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the department.
  • Oversee the development of electrical deliverables throughout all project phases, including conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs.
  • Engineer and design facility power distribution systems and PLC-based control systems.
  • Create and refine electrical engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Manage third-party electrical engineering firms to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Support procurement activities related to electrical and control systems equipment.
  • Conduct inspections of electrical installations to verify compliance with engineering documents and safety standards.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for electrical systems in industrial settings.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Electrical and Controls engineering, particularly in industrial gas processing.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred; a Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering practices, including applicable codes and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with engineering design software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
