Housekeeping Associate

Laundry Person Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Associate to join our housekeeping team at Bethea Retirement Community. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of residents' clothing and linens, as well as performing other housekeeping tasks as needed.

The successful candidate will have experience in laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding laundry according to established procedures. They will also be responsible for inspecting clean laundry for stains, tears, or other issues, and making necessary repairs or replacements. Additionally, they will manage inventory levels and perform routine maintenance on laundry equipment to ensure its proper functioning.

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 per year, which may vary based on location and experience. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role. They should also be familiar with laundry equipment and cleaning products, and possess good organizational and time management skills.

This position requires physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Flexibility in work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
