EMG Tech

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Technician to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for conducting patient testing, including EMG's, electroencephalograms (EEG), nerve conduction studies (NCS), and electronystagmograms (ENG). Your expertise will ensure accurate documentation of patient testing and maintenance of clinical testing equipment.

• Conduct patient testing, including EMG's, EEG, NCS, and ENG
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient testing
• Perform physical maintenance of clinical testing equipment
• Review and analyze patients' medical history to determine appropriate neurodiagnostic procedures
• Interview patients and/or family members to obtain additional information
• Prepare and position patients for testing, including measuring and marking cranial area and fastening electrodes to specified positions on scalp and body
• Deliver excellent patient experience behaviors, conveying compassion and respect for patients and coworkers

• High School or GED required; 2-year degree preferred
• Certification through ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation required; CPR or BCLS certification within 30 days of hire preferred
• Recent experience in EMG and ENG, in addition to EEG, preferred but not required
