Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for our practice who will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care. We are a remarkable team that works diligently to support one another and are searching for an outstanding addition like you who values patient care as much as we do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparing for examinations, instructing patients on the collection of necessary samples/tests, and obtaining vital signs.
  • Notify patients of test results and follow-up appointments, and provide instructions to patients and families regarding medications and treatment protocols.
  • Maintain patient records, including chart entries and posting lab/test and examination results.
  • Schedule tests and treatments, including arranging referrals to specialists and obtaining pre-authorizations as directed by the provider.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
  • Must hold a valid LPN/LVN license in accordance with state regulations.
