This position will provide technical leadership of our Embedded Software Navigation R&D portfolio for military applications. You will be responsible for architecting and developing embedded software platforms utilizing C, C++, Ada, or related languages to support research and development of SDR (Software Defined Receiver).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and developing embedded software platforms for SDR systems
  • Leading a software team and navigation and timing experts in a team-based collaborative environment
  • Applying research and development skills to architect real-world products and capabilities
  • Working in close collaboration with Government R&D organizations to develop advanced navigation and timing technologies

Basic qualifications include a Master of Science in a STEM discipline and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience, or Ph.D. in STEM discipline; minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance are also required.

Preferred qualifications include Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or Computer Engineering or any related field and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Working experience as a Team Lead, Technical Lead, and/or Subject Matter Expert (SME) in fields of knowledge and expertise is also desirable.

This position is contingent upon the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance within a timeframe acceptable to management as well as contract award.
