MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy offers services at various therapy centers throughout the Metro Detroit area, as well as staffing solutions for Special Education and Healthcare facilities statewide. Our innovative approach to support children encompasses multiple therapy disciplines in one location, simplifying the process for caregivers.

Our comprehensive services include ABA Therapy, Feeding/Swallowing Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy. We also provide affordable screenings for Speech-Language development, fine and gross motor skills, sensory impairments, and autism.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • ASHA CCCs
  • State of Michigan SLP Licensure

Key Responsibilities:

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will:

  • Conduct a variety of screening and diagnostic assessments related to communicative functions, focusing on receptive language, expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and dysphagia.
  • Create a tailored treatment plan based on initial evaluations, setting appropriate goals and objectives, and adjusting the program as needed based on client progress.
  • Schedule and deliver direct treatment to clients using suitable therapeutic techniques.
  • Educate clients and their families or caregivers on effective home program strategies, providing ongoing training and monitoring of therapeutic programs.
  • Assess and facilitate the acquisition of necessary equipment or supplies related to the treatment plan.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records for individual client treatments and complete required documentation as per MetroEHS standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, support staff, and educators to coordinate the therapeutic plan, communicating any changes in treatment or client status.
  • Participate in client-specific and clinical conferences with a multidisciplinary team to discuss client progress and needs.
