Job Summary

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Oakton, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer high-quality patient care according to radiology practice standards and hospital policies.
  • Act as a resource to radiography students and other technologists to ensure optimal department functions.
  • Operate radiological equipment in various care settings, including fluoroscopy, trauma, and the Operating Room.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history and informed consent.
  • Assist physicians in performing examinations and recognize clinical and/or emergent problems that may interfere with exams.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiology school or program.
  • One year of combined classroom and clinical training in radiology.
  • Recent experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Radiologic Technologist or student.
  • American Registered Radiologic Technologists within 12 months of hire.
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist Upon Start Must be licensed as required by the state of employment if employed at an Inova Health System free-standing Imaging Center not affiliated with an Inova hospital.
