Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher Assistant to join our team at Ruth's Chris Steak House. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash, store, and stock all plateware, glassware, eating utensils, cups, bowls, pots, pans, and other smallware and equipment to ensure sufficient quantities are on hand and ready to serve guests.
  • Assist in spot cleaning floors, carpeting, walls, and other furnishings to maintain a safe and pleasing environment for team members and guests.
  • Assist in the set-up, operation, and cleanup of the interior and exterior of the restaurant, including the dining area, kitchen, and service areas.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
