Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our trial team from the filing of the complaint through trial, including propounding and responding to extensive discovery, drafting various motions, oppositions, and replies, and calendaring and noticing depositions and other hearings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the trial team in preparing and filing pleadings, motions, and other documents
- Propound and respond to extensive discovery, including requests for production and depositions
- Draft and edit various motions, oppositions, and replies
- Calendaring and noticing depositions and other hearings
- Organize and maintain documents for filing
- Draft correspondence and other documents as needed
- Perform special projects as assigned by the team
Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish is a huge plus
- Thorough understanding of personal injury law, including pre-litigation and litigation phases
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
