Freight Handler

Job Summary:

The Kroger Company is seeking a skilled Freight Handler to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement and storage of merchandise within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Accurately label, stock, and inventory department merchandise to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
• Product Knowledge: Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department to provide excellent customer service.
• Customer Service: Recommend frozen food items to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need.
• Quality Control: Check product quality to ensure freshness and report any discrepancies to management.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
• Previous Warehouse Experience: Preferred
