Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid Class "A" commercial driver's license.
  • At least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or over 2,500 accident-free hours.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products.
  • Capacity to sit for extended periods, up to five hours daily.
  • Ability to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor-trailer for extended periods.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer, transporting products to specified destinations in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Engage in physical tasks such as loading and unloading trailers, which may involve manual handling or the use of equipment.
  • Transport various products to and from grocery stores and manufacturing facilities.
  • Complete necessary paperwork related to deliveries and review invoices.
  • Utilize electronic logging devices for tracking and reporting.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Adhere to legal driving limits and be prepared for overnight trips.
