Civil Engineer Expert Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer to join our team at Robson Forensic, a national leader in expert witness consulting. As a Civil Engineer Expert, you will be responsible for performing investigations and analyses, preparing reports, and providing expert testimony in civil litigation and insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead investigations and analyses of construction projects, identifying causes of delays, cost overruns, and other issues.
  • Prepare detailed reports and expert testimony for court cases and insurance claims.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to understand project requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in construction management and civil engineering.
Requirements:
  • PE license required.
  • B.S. Civil Engineering degree from an ABET accredited institution.
  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in land development and/or site/civil/heavy construction project management.
  • Experience with safety requirements and issues on construction sites.
  • Ability to safely climb and navigate ladders, roofs, scaffolding, etc. as needed for inspection activities.
  • Willing to travel about 20% on average.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a comprehensive team.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
